Luther Classical College Scholarship Endowment - Thanks be to God, a member of our congregation has offered an initial $30,000 gift toward a scholarship endowment for Luther Classical College, a confessional Lutheran college. If you would like to contribute, please speak with Pastor Preus so an accurate total may be provided to LCC.
Items are being collected for the Human Care Fair. Donations of canes, walkers, medical supplies, clothing, stuffed animals, bikes, trikes, pots, pans, and similar items are welcome. Please place donated items on the stage and consider helping to pack boxes on August 26th.
Now is a great time to be buying items for the School Kits for Orphan Grain Train. Here is a list of the items needed for a kit: 1 backpack, 2 spiral notebooks, 2 pencils, 2 pens, 10 sheets of construction paper, 1 package of crayons (24 count), 1 ruler, 2 glue sticks, 1 scissors, 1 eraser, 1 package of colored pencils (12 count), and 1 pencil sharpener. Backpacks, drawstring athletic bags, or homemade tote bags are all acceptable.
